30Doctor Armstrong is ready to begin the operation to kill off the Institute’s leadership. I must covertly place five Pulse Charges throughout the Institute that he may remotely detonate, killing anyone nearby without leaving a trace. He has given me a Synth Disguise, which I should wear at all times once inside. I should talk to him when I’m ready.Player has spoken to Doctor Armstrong . Wait for them to say they are ready.

I must avoid talking to anyone, and cannot be seen placing the five Pulse Charges. <Alias=EnclaveLeader> gave me some Noisemakers that I can use to draw people away from certain areas.[PLAYER IN INSTITUTE] Enable player controls, and move Doctor Armstrong to the Institute.

Notes

  • If the player attempts to talk to anyone within the Institute, their cover will be blown and the mission will fail.
  • If anyone sees the player placing any of the charges, their cover will be blown and the mission will fail.
  • The player is given 5 Noisemakers to draw attention away from areas.
  • If the player fails, the Enclave questline will shift to destroying the Institute, and Bunker Buster will begin.
  • If the player succeeds, the Enclave questline will pause for a few days until Dawn’s Early Light (the epilogue) begins.
